Comments refused

  Hi,

  I gather this might be a bigger problem than just for me – someone emailed me to let me know that a comment they had tried to make on my blog had been refused – it just hadn’t gone through. It wasn’t caught in spam or anything. He mentioned that this had been happening a bit lately with wordpress blogs. I know that it’s hard to know whether this is happening (!) but has anyone else had any similar issues? Also, is there any reason why the support page is still non-functional? I thought our wonderful support team were back on the 14th?

  I’m having the same problem ,you’re not alone. As for support, I guess the surf is up! What worries me is I’m new here, (18th January) and I’m wondering if I should just go somewhere else to set up my blog. I sort of like the layed back SoCal feel though, so maybe I should just get my board out and chill until the surf dies down.

  Support is closed on weekends. Also, most of Automattic is on a plane or otherwise en route to our top secret underground lair right now.

  Is the chat channel thingie also shut on weekends? My impression was that it was a 24 hour service.
