Comments Reply Notification

    Hi There,

    I was wondering if there was a plug in or option I could enable that means that when I reply to a comment that somebody leaves on my own blog then they are notified?

    I am worried that I am replying to comments that people are leaving me, but unless they check back they never know!

    @Deborah,
    G’day to you. There is no FTP access to wordpress.COM blogs and we cannot install any individual plugins.

    We can activate these options for your reader’s use. > Settings > Discussion
    Scroll down the page and below the Comment Blacklist box you will find these options that you can activate.

    Comment Reply Via Email ___ Enable sending comment replies via email
    Subscribe To Comments ___ Show a ‘subscribe to comments” option in the comment form
    Subscribe To Blog___ Show a ‘subscribe to blog’ option in the comment form

    After you have checkmarked them scroll down and click “Save Changes”

    P.S. I have these set up for my readers but never use them myself. In the cases where I did and bloggers left comments on old posts open I am still receiving additional comments on posts published way back in 2007, even though I have no interest in them at this time, and there is no way to stop them from coming that I have found as yet.

    Just out of curiosity, does it cost to upgrade to wordpress.com?

    (I know this is unrelated now, apologies!)
