  How do I get rid of the comments section? I can’t even seem to edit the page. Please respond to (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  You don’t give the address of the site you’re having problems with so I don’t know if you’re talking about a WordPress.com site or not. Have you tried clicking on “Settings” “Discussion” ?. Also if you add /wp-admin/edit-comments.php to the end of a WordPress.com site address you can delete any existing comments there.
