Comments section

I’m using the Kelly theme in my new blog. The Comments section has everything in duplicate i.e. two identical columns. How to I revert to single entries for each comment?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I see threaded ie. nested comments. See here to understand what they are and how to disable that display if you don’t like it.
4. Enable threaded (nested) comments __ levels deep- Turn on this option to allow visitors to reply to other comments inline/nested. When turned on it can allow for better discussions and responses. We suggest using a maximum of 3 levels deep. Anything higher and the theme layouts may not work as expected. Note: Enabling the setting only applies to new comments since existing comments don’t have any threading date. However, disabling this setting applies to all comments.

I have explored this option. Enabled threaded (nested) comment is already turned on .. 3 levels deep. So still have all comments duplicated in double column. Perhaps this might change if I have multiple posts? Hopefully? Or is it an embedded aspect of the theme?

When you have set up threaded comments then the individual responses to specific comments will be indented. Are you clear on that?
If you don’t like that appearance then disable the setting and you will have a single column of comments.
