Comments sent through email

I moderate the comments for my blog and have it set so they are sent through email. My question is, why does the same comment repeatedly show up in my email box even after I’ve moderated it and posted it on my blog? An hour or so later it shows up again with a new time stamp on it but it’s the exact same comment.
This repeatedly happens to all comments every day.

What you’re finding is that you get two notifications:
1. Tells you that there is a new comment awaiting moderation.
2. Once you’ve moderated the comment you’ll get an email that tells you you have a new comment on your blog.
It gets to me too. You know there’s a new comment, you’ve just moderated it!
Unfortunately this is the way that WordPress works, both here at WP.com and on hosted blogs too – that’s the way mine works anyway. I haven’t yet found a way round it.

This is where to set up moderated comments. => Dashboard => Options => Discussion
Check mark these boxes and click “update options”
E-mail me whenever:
* Anyone posts a comment
* A comment is held for moderationBefore a comment appears:
* An administrator must always approve the comment -
Please next time give us a chance to respond. :)
The option to moderate comments before they show up is located at Dashboard -> Options -> Discussion -> check the box labeled “An administrator must always approve the comment ” and click on save.
