Comments sent to wrong e-mail address

Hi–I set up this page for a friend of mine. Originally I used my e-mail address so I could get the password to work on the site, then later, I changed the e-mail in her account under “my profile” to her e-mail. Now she has received her first comment to approve but it was sent to MY e-mail address not hers. I checked under her account and her e-mail address is the one still showing. Any ideas on what is happening here and how to fix it? Thanks much, Julie

Is your fried set as an administrator on the blog?
The information you set in the profile I think makes no difference. I believe the email will go to whichever account the blog was registered with.
You could try removing yourself from the blog and see what happens. I assume you have two users set up on the blog?

She is set up as the administrator. I just use her info to get in, I’m not set up as a user. I don’t see my e-mail address on her site/account/profile anywhere anymore. Do you think I need to contact Support Staff to make sure this is changed to her e-mail? Thanks for your help, Julie

Sometimes people get confused and think they can change their email address on this page -> Users -> Your Profile. Please confirm the email address has actually been changed on this page -> Options -> General

This address is used only for admin purposes. If you change this we will send you an email at your new address to confirm it. The new address will not become active until confirmed. -
Actually the comments should be being sent to whatever address is within Dashboard -> Options -> general Email address. It is editable or it should be at least.

The email address for admin purposes to which comment notifications re: moderation are sent is editable here -> Options -> General just like I said above. I know this is so because I have done it myself.
At first I tried to change my email address on this page -> Users -> Your Profile. I was unsuccessful. Then I tried here -> Options -> General and I got an email at my new address with a link in it to click to confirm the email address change.

I’ve tried to change the admin email address at Options > General Options > E-mail address 4 times now. No email has been sent. On Save, the address reverts back the the old one. The new email address is for an admin on the blog, so not sure why it isn’t sticking.
Other thoughts or ideas?
