Comments shows e-mail address

Comment shows name and email address for the last person who left a comment, in the leave a reply area.

You have not posted the url to the problem area.
So could you do that now please?N.B. If a wordpress.com blog is set up to require a username and address on comments, then all of the comments you leave on that blog when you are signed into wordpress.com, will contain the email address you registered at wordpress with.

It says when you leave a comment that your email will not be published. But when you look at a comment and look at “leave a reply” it has the name and email address of the last person who left a response. This mean that anyone can click a comment an on leave a reply can see the name and email address of the last person.

The url above takes me to a blog that does not have the blue wordpress.com navigation bar at the top of it. This is usually an indication that the blog is not hosted by wordpress on this multi-user blogging platform but, instead is self-hosted software downloaded from wordpress.org. The distinction is important as wordpress.com operates on different software and the answers to your questions will differ depending on the software being used. Another indication that this is not a wordpress.com blog is the “www” in the url. WordPress.com blogs don’t have the “www”. The comment I see says Audrey but with no email. If you see it means because you’re the administrator. We can’t see it but only you can.

Good catch – very intuitive.
Only the Administrator of the blog can see the email address on comments.
