Comments STILL being sent to spam despite contacting Akismet

Okay, I am not happy! yesterday I noticed that my comment son other peoples posts weren’t posting and so I popped into the forum and found that others were experiencing the same problem and followed the advice given to them: namely to go to the Akismet help site and click the ‘you are catching my comments’ etc etc
That was around 11.15pm last night and my comments are STILL being caught and put into spam folders!!! This is dreadful customer service.
Some of the bloggers I am regularly in contact with have located my comments and unspammed me but this has made absolutely no difference at all!
I am not impressed! I appreciate that the Akismet support team may need time to deal with all the bloggers who have been caught like this but, really, 17 hours or so later this should have been sorted.
How long is this going to take?

Akismet is a learning engine. It will take time to learn that your comments are not spam. You contacted Akismet Staff and we do not have an answer to your question here in the Support Forums.

Have you made sure that the person commenting hasn’t got their name/I.P in your blacklist?

Oh sorry, I just re-read your question. This once happened to me, because I got reported to WordPress. I think I just waited and then it just stopped happening.
