I use the comment form for visitors to make reservations with me. I get sent an email by wordpress but it gets buried in a thread of other comments so I miss reservations because they arrive under or in the thread of anothers request. How can I receive them individually?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hello there!

I have a suggestion for you: first, make certain that your contact form has a subject line such as RESERVATIONS. Then, in gmail (which appears to be where you receive your blog-related email), setup a filter for yourself. The filter will take all emails with the subject, RESERVATIONS, and put them in a separate folder. You can also add a star to these emails, so they really stand out for you.

Here are Google’s instructions for setting this up:

I hope this helps! If you have any other concerns, drop me a note. Thanks much!

Thanks Robin, I have the subject line reservations. So now I will create the filter etc in gmail. I was hoping there was a setting on my site that I could adjust in WordPress to stop it aggregating messages and sending them all at once. I will get an email with 4 different client requests in it but only one name appears in the address field. So I reply to that top message without seeing the others especially if I access it on my phone and while I am doing one of the other services so not fully engaged in office duties :). Is there someway to stop wordpress doing that?

    Hello there!

That is an inconvenient way to receive these notifications! Let’s check your personal notification settings.

    Please click this link:
    https://wordpress.com/me/notifications

Where you see “Default Email Delivery” — your settings should reflect “Instant Email Delivery” rather than “Daily Email Delivery.” Then, you’ll get an email notification whenever you receive a comment or contact form entry…rather than a digest at the end of the day.

That should do the trick! If I can help in any other way, please drop me a line. Cheers :)
