COMMENTS TO MY BLOGS
-
Hi,
On my photo blogs, there appears the line ‘leave a comment’ after each posting. As far as I recall, I never made any special effort to make these appear, and I like them.
The only special effort I recall is setting a general rule of comments appear only with my approval first, and that has always worked. Here is an example:

But on two of my writing blogs, this ‘leave a comment’ does not appear, and I have made every effort I understand to make it appear, but to no avail. Here are the word blogs:
https://chuckmanwordsincomments.wordpress.com/
https://chuckmanwords.wordpress.com/I have tried everything that I understand to change this, but I cannot succeed, and I have read the WordPress help articles, but they don’t truly help.
At least I cannot manage to go from the examples given in the help article to applying the same to my word blogs.
You will see that I have inserted the ‘leave a comment’ into a few of these on https://chuckmanwordsincomments.wordpress.com/ but that is by using the individual options on each post, a huge task to go back and do for all.
I have looked at ‘bulk editing’ for all posts but it is not at all clear, at least to me’ how to do this.
Mind you, I would still want the general restriction which I’ve set for every comment to be approved by me.
This in fact all works on my photo blogs without my making any special effort. ????

Please note:
That last line:
“The blog I need help with is chuckmantorontonostalgia.wordpress.com.”
was added by Wordress.
That is not accurate. The references in my write-up are the correct ones.
Thank you. John Chuckman

Hi again,
Well, I took another look, and I was able to do what I wanted to do.
But this mechanism (under: Bulk Edits) is unbelievably inefficient.
For my “Comments” site, I had to repeat the operation 133 times!
