Comments turned off. Help!

  I am using the Mystique theme. Since changing to this my comments are turned off. I have read through the various suggestions and checked what needs to be checked. If it’s a coding problem with the theme I have no idea how to fix that. Can anyone walk me through this? I don’t even know where to even find the code area. I really wll need to walked though every step. :(

  Well, first of all, you can’t edit the code of the theme.

  Second, I just temporarily activated the theme, and did not have this issue, so it’s not the theme.

  If comments are turned off for specific blog posts, you’ll need to turn them back on for those specific posts. You’ll also want to go to Dashboard > Settings > Discussion, and make sure comments aren’t set to OFF, or set to turn off after a certain period of time.

  Ok, so it’s not the theme. I have everything turned on. Nothing is checked to turn off or anything like that.
