Comments under posts?
-
I would like the comments on each post to be under the posts that they’re comments on, rather than on the side of the page. I’ve ticked the nested comments (which seems to be what’s indicated in the support section) but the comments still only appear on the side bear, unrelated to the actual posts they’re comments on.
I hope that’s clear!
Many thanks for your help.

Yes, it’s clear but it’s not possible.
Imagine being a visitor visiting a blog with hundreds of posts each with and many comments displayed beneath them. One would have to scroll for miles.
Unless you use the P2 theme which is a Twitter-like theme, know that the front pages of our blogs “showcase content” and comments are collapsed on that page. You cannot change this. The way the comments function is coded into the core of WordPress. By clicking the post title or the comments link the posts on the front page open on their own page where all comments display.

Thanks for that, though it’s disappointing. My blogs just have a few comments each so I’d would have liked them to be displayed.

There’s no way I would want all the comments on my blog posts (899 Posts) and comments (20,194 Approved) appearing on the front page of my blog. If they did that would cause browser crashing for my visitors and my subscribers would not pit up with it they would unsubscribe.

You’re clearly in a different league than me, I have about 3 comments per post!

Now that I’ve looked you up, I can also say you have two very interesting blogs. I’ve signed up to follow you!
