comments will not post no matter what I do

I have people posting comments on my blog page which is on my website. I have gotten notifications by email that ask me to accept the comments. I do – then it takes me to the wordpress site & I hit accept. Nothing happens on my site. I go back & click on it & hit apply…nothing. What can I do to get these comments posted?

We can’t help you without a link to the blog, starting with http. The site linked to your name is not a wordpress.com blog, and we won’t be able to help you with that.

Go directly to “comments” in your dashboard (from the left navigation module) and see if they are there and if they are showing as approved. If they are showing as approved, give a little more information. Give us a post title where this has happened, and a couple usernames so that we can look at the blog and see if we see them or not.

oddly enough – I went on my wordpress & highlighted all the comments – clicked approved & it worked this time. Thanks.

the thing is – it just says ‘with 4 comments’ & you have to click on them to see them – they aren’t just already there
