Comments won’t load

  I can’t get my comments to load. Any idea why not?

  Hi tehachap,

  I just checked out your site and I am able to see comments loading. Did you recently change any settings related to comments? Were you working on anything else related to your site settings of theme recently? I might suggest clearing the cache on your browser and refreshing to see if the issue still persists.

  I’ve deleted my history and rather than select ALL in my comments I selected UNREAD. It still sat there with the little spinning wheel in the center. THEN I went over to the My Site link and accessed my comments through there. Did and done. I might forego the ‘Bell’ option for bringing up comments and just go through the My Site link.

  BTW, Any idea why my comments on Blogger sites won’t show up? I’ve tried using my WordPress ID but even that doesn’t work. My Gravatar for Google is grayed out and I can’t get it to change. The other day, one of the bloggers that I follow had the same problem, so I know I’m not alone. Any ideas?? Thanks for your help!

  I cleared my browsing history completely. Then I went to my site and tried to load the comments by clicking on the bell in the upper r/h corner. Still just buffering… Glad that I have a work-around, but the bell link shouldn’t take that long to load.

  Thanks to everyone who responded to my cry for help. I did discover that changing the 3rd party cookies from off to on did the trick. Now when I go to comment, I can select ‘Google ID” and the system will automatically take me to Google and ask me to log in. This was not the case in the past. Again, thanks for all the advice!
