@2020testjj Sure will do, as soon as we get a response from staff. There are a couple of threads still waiting on an answer. I’m sure they’ll figure it out and get things fixed 👍. It’s a great platform with good people.

I was having the issue on a site where I’m an admin, but it appears to have been resolved at some point yesterday afternoon.

I’m still having the same problem, I can answer comments left on my own WordPress.com site, I can leave likes on other blogs but I can’t leave comments , the Reply button is grey and non reactive. I have been writing to the assistance, got a mechanical answer, replied, received a more personal answer telling me they’d look into it to. It’s been like that for the last 36 hours. And still not working. Anyone with a hint ?

@campuan you mention that the comment button on other WordPress.com sites is grey and non-reactive.
Is that when you first access the post itself or after you’ve typed something in the comment box?
Are you logged into your WordPress.com account when you try to respond?
Can you share a link to a WordPress.com site where you’ve tried to leave a post comment?

1. So here is what I see using FFv120 on a Win10Pro PC when accessing a post on tirelalangue:
While I’m logged in to my WPcom account and before typing a comment, the Reply button is inactive.
After typing a comment, the comment button becomes active and I’m offered some subscription choices.
2. Here is what I see when accessing a post on demalinhapronta:
While I’m logged out, and before I’ve written a comment, again the Reply button is inactive
After I’ve typed something in the comment box, the Reply button becomes active and I’m given a few optional log-in choices.
Are you saying that even after typing your comment in the box the Reply button remains inactive in all cases? If so, have you tried using a different browser or disabling any browser extensions you might be using?
If those don’t work for you, please post back here and let us know what set up you’re using, Operating System and browser. Thanks.
