  i dont want the above on my HOME page, below my posts etc..i tried to disable the comments etc following guidelines to no avail!
  please advise.

  i would also like to change name of blog to:
  helman6x4.wordpress.com

  please advise.

  This means you didn’t study the guidelines carefully enough. Disabling comments in Settings > Discussion becomes your new default: it will apply to future posts/pages, but it doesn’t apply to already published posts/pages. The latter need to be edited or quick edited or bulk edited.
