Comments/Reply box to appear AT THE BOTTOM of my blog?
-
I posted my first blog yesterday at http://www.runninglaughsblog.com/bobs-blog/ On all other pages for the site there is a box at the bottom for Leave a Reply. On the blog page, to post a comment, it appears that you have to click the Comment word at the top of the blog in the left margin. People don’t get that and are emailing me re: “How do I post a comment?” How can I get the Reply/Comment box to appear at the bottom automatically?!!
Thanks,
Bob

The comment box only appears on individual posts and pages, like this post. Visitors need to click on the post title or ‘comment’ link to visit the individual post before they can leave a comment.
Please read this guide for more information about comments.

I may be slow on the uptake but I still don’t get it. Each of my pages on the site automatically has a reply box at the bottom for comments but the one page devoted to the Blog doesn’t. Are you saying, that’s the way it is and readers have to go up to the top of the blog and click on Comment to then leave a comment? Why can’t there automatically be a box at the bottom like all the other pages?
Thanks so much and sorry I’m not grasping it.

The ‘Bob’s Blog’ page is set up as a post archive page in your ‘Reading Settings’. Showing all the latest posts, which is only one now. If you publish more posts, they will all be listed on your ‘Bob’s Blog’ page. Because they are multiple posts on one page, we don’t show the comment box until the visitor clicks on ‘comment’, otherwise you would have lots of comment boxes on one page.
