Commetns in Portfolio Projects

  I am using the illustatr theme and i wanted to know if there is some way to enable comments in portfolio projects.I know it is enable by default in pages and post.I want the reply button after each project/post also if that is possible.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I’ve looked that up but didn’t find what i was thinking.I just want to have people comment me via reply button at the bottom of each portfolio like the normal post do.Is that possible?

  Hi there George,

  Unfortunately, commenting on portfolio items isn’t currently possible. What you can do is create a new category called “Portfolio”, assign posts to it and link to the category page in your menu. That way, you’ll still have a Portfolio page your visitors can view, and have the option to leave comments.

  To create a new category, go to Posts -> Categories in your dashboard:

  Afterwards, create a new post and assign it to the “Portfolio” category:

  Then, create a menu link to the category in Appearance -> Menus:
