Community blog deleted, apparently by unauthorised person. Can you help?

    friendsofsaron.wordpress.com was set up as a free WordPress community blog in around 2012 by a community group with support from the Welsh government ‘Communities 2.0’ digital inclusion initiative. This programme ended in 2015 and the staff having moved on to other things are now unavailable. Since they set up this blog giving myself and a couple of others administration rights we are now at a total loss as to how, if at all, we can recover this site. We had believed, wrongly as it has turned out, that our blog was a secure record of all of our activities, meeting details, associated heritage information etc etc. Any help that can be provided will be most gratefully received from members of this forum as it looks as if there is no channel through which we can contact WordPress staff directly.     You received a reply from a member of staff when you posted about this issue previously. Iyt is bewst to keep to your original thread rather than create duplicates. You’ll need to reach out to the owner of the site. Only they can restore it (if they contact staff here at https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/how-can-i-restore-the-community-site-friendsofsaron-wordpress-com/ )
