Community Pool Comments Issue
-
I am having issues with the community pool. If I type a comment and someone replies to that comment, I can normally click on the “speech bubble” in the top right, click on the comment and it will take me to that comment within the community pool.
This doesn’t happen all the time, often it just takes me to the very first post, even though the url I am given indicates it should be showing me my comment, for example I see https://dailypost.wordpress.com/2015/05/04/community-pool-113/#comment-570740 in the address bar but the comments I am shown are the very first comments.
I’d like to add that the way the comments work on community pool (opening up on the right in a narrow window) is horrible and really not user friendly, why can you not have comments underneath like normal blogs?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi!
Thanks so much for the report about the comment links! I was able to reproduce this issue, and I’ve reported it to our developers. I’ll let you know as soon as this is fixed!
Regarding the Community Pool comment section, could you elaborate about specifically what you don’t enjoy regarding the side comment section? Currently, there isn’t an option to default to the normal comment style. However, I’d love to find out specifically what you find difficult to use so I can pass that feedback along!

Hi Jeremy. Glad you was able to reproduce the error, I look forward to the fix.
As for my dislike of the comments section on the community pool it is simply that it is cramped, It only covers about 33% of the screen and invariably the section pulls in lots of comments into that area. The two scroll bars down the right (one for the browser and one for the comments section looks messy.
I think the main thing is though because it is quite narrow (the comments section) and some posts get a fair few comments that you lose track easily. It that is how the comments section needs to be because there is no alternative then perhaps each main post should be a different colour, maybe alternating between white and grey for example so it breaks the comments up from almost a wall of text to something more manageable.
