Why can't I view my blog at work? Is there a way to get around Websense?

  My company blocks my blogs due to them being labeled “social networking”. Is there anything that can be done about that.

  Unfortunately there isn’t much that we can do since Websense is controlled by your employer. That in mind, there are three options to get around Websense:

  1. Ask your company to adjust the settings to allow WordPress.com sites.

  2. Connect to the internet through a proxy server.

  3. You can also use one of our mobile apps to access your blog using your mobile device. Check out http://support.wordpress.com/apps/ for more information.

  Aside from that, you might be limited to accessing your blog from home. :(
