I need help gaining access of our company WordPress site. It was started by an employee who is no longer with the company. I do not have the username or password.

Assuming you are referring to a free hosted WordPress.COM blog what’s follow is how to proceed.
Every blog has a sole owner and it is the person with the username account who registered the blog under that username account. That username account has to add your username account as Admin to the blog you want to be transferred to you and use the process to transfer the blog to it.
