Company Website and WordPress Blog Feed

  We are trying to link our Blog to our website. I read a similar support post but the answer was unclear to me:

  “i would like to link my blog to my webpage. when i post in my blog, is there a way it will automatically update my webpage?

  That would really depend on where your website is, what powers it, etc.
  Your blog here has an RSS feed, and if you can install a feed parser on your website, you should be able to include your feed”

  My IT team is asking for items auch as:

  1 . WordPress Database Name – Need the WordPress database name

  2. WordPress Database Username – Need the username to connect to the database

  3. WordPress Database Password – Need the password for the specified user

  4. WordPress Database Host – The host where the database is located

  5. WordPress Database Prefix – The table prefix used in your WordPress installation

  Based on the above response to the other user’s post, I’m confused! Is it possible to have a link between a WP Blog site and our company website, so posts are automatically updated on the company website?

  We don’t allow database access at WordPress.com.

  You’ll need to ask your IT team to install an RSS feed parser to collect posts from your blog’s feed: http://systemsadvisors.wordpress.com/feed/
