Compatibility Issues?

  i’m using Firefox all the while and viewing my own site has no problem until recently.

  several of my friends complained to me that whenever they load my blog page using firefox, it lags out their whole pc and they had to close the whole browser but if they use Internet Explorer, it’s all fine.

  I tried it out myself and what they say is true.

  Why is this happening?

  Help?

  I can confirm that this is a problem. I checked your blog in Firefox and my computer FROZE! I checked it in IE7 and, while it takes time to load, it didn’t freeze my computer.

  You’ve got a LOT of images on the front page, all linked to photos hosted at Flicker. The images are the problem. Try reducing the number of posts on your front page. Also, the actual images are larger than those that are showing on your front page. That may also be part of the problem.

  hie, thanks for looking into my problem.

  i have reduced the total amount of entries displayed in my front page from 5 to 2 and now firefox works normally.
