Competition Image Upload Programme

  I understand one can obtain a programme whereby members of a photo club are able to upload images directly for their monthly competition. How do I obtain this software?

  Hi there,

  To allow other people to upload files to your site, you have three options:

  1) You add them as users on your site. They’ll each need to have their own WordPress.com username account, and you’ll have to add them in the Author role, which would also allow them to create and publish new posts on the site.

  2) You can use a plugin to allow user-submitted content. Using plugins on WordPress.com requires our Business Plan.

  3) You can use a JotForm contact form on your site – JotForm forms can be configured so that file attachments can be included when someone submits a form.

  Thank you for your reply Kokkieh. I’m agarose I wasn’t very clear. I’m asking if websites built on other platforms other than WordPress can use avail themselves of your image upload plugin. Is JotForm a separate entity?

  We wouldn’t really be able to advise about sites built elsewhere. Plugins created for WordPress sites are generally not thought to be used with other software.

  JotForm is an online application tool that you might be able to use with any site. However, if your question is about a site that was not built on WordPress.com, it’s best if you ask the support team of that platform for more information :)
