  How do I get a refund for this money paid to you via PayPal for a website I no longer have

  I don’t have a site linked to this WordPress.com account

  Thanks for writing to us. I’ve reviewed the account you’re writing from and can confirm that there aren’t any upgrades associated with it. That tells us that this purchase was made from a different account. We can help you find that account.
  
  The first thing I would try is searching your email accounts for a WordPress.com receipt. If you find that, then that is the email address you need to log in with to get to the proper account.
  
  If you aren’t able to sort out the email address for the account then you can use the transaction details to regain access: https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/
  
  I’d still suggest using the link shared by staartmees because that might help clue you in to the proper account too.
  
  Lastly, once the proper account has been located and we hear from you under that account we can then investigate the charge and process a refund if it is eligible.
