This site has not been deleted https://scatteredclouds1.wordpress.com/
The Admin login link is https://scatteredclouds1.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account.

You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard.

Clicking this link should display all blogs registered under the same username, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden

If you do not see the blog here http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/ then
    follow this guide > http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#my-blogs-dashboard-visibility

If the log-in information is lost visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

If you are not successful, then please complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums which are available to everyone with internet access.

    Hi,
Are you sure you haven’t added another administrator to your blog? When you add/invite users and you assign them an “administrator” role, then they are entitled to delete content on your blog.

There’s a different site URL attached to the OP’s username that is probably scatteredclouds&dust.wordpress.com but as one cannot use special characters (such as ampersand) when signing up for a site URL I believe that is an error.

I can’t find any content cached on Google for scatteredclouds1.wordpress.com/ other than the standard template pages for about and Hello World.

Thanks for your response. The site is there as a ‘begin your blog’ thing but all the content has gone, every scrap except for the image.

No, I didn’t add an administrator, carladoria.

Yes, justjennifer, the blogs title is

scatteredclouds&dust.wordpress.com and has been for years. The ampersand has never been a problem, and I hadn’t realised it wasn’t a good idea. So now, it’s a problem and I’ve lost all my content after so many years?

Are you absolutely sure that http://scatteredclouds1.wordpress.com/ is the correct address of the blog you’ve used in the past?

scatteredclouds&dust.wordpress.com and has been for years. The ampersand has never been a problem,

Ampersands may have been used in the blog name that appears on the home page and header area inside the blog, but special characters such as an ampersand have never been allowed inside of a web address at WordPress.com. The web address is the link for the blog and starts with https://

It sounds to me like you may have mistakenly setup more than one blog in the past and now you’re having trouble finding the correct blog. Can you think of any of the titles for the most recent posts that were made to the blog you were using in the past? It might be possible to search Google’s cache that way and find out more.

    Hi designsimply,

Thank you very much for your reply. At first I was rather resistant to this as because I had no recollection of having made two, but you’re absolutely right. After a dig through my links and info, yes, I’ve made two by complete oversight of my brain. :D The empty one, t http://scatteredclouds1.wordpress.com has an ampersand in the heading, but not the link. Clearly, the mistake was when I set it up originally. I found I’d had 2 bookmarkings on my Firefox, one of which was the above and panicked. What a dummy. ;)

My ‘real’ one with content has no ampersand in the title at all and is
http://scatteredcloudsanddust.blogspot.co.uk/ and all my content is there.

Thank you so much to you and everyone who replied to help me sort this out. I have no idea what happened, but I found it my content.

    Eiry xx
