    Hi,

    My boss has asked me to look into creating a client portal from our website. We have a com.au domain which I cannot transfer to WordPress so would need to link it to the current provider Square Space. Has anyone done this? I can’t seem to get much help directly from either side. Thank you

    Amazing thank you for all the information. So would that mean I should be able to set up some sort of login icon on the Squarespace page that then goes to the WordPress site for the customer to login in and view their documentation? I am more than happy to pay for a plan I just want to make sure I can do what we need to before committing.

    2. Are you planning for clients to access documents directly on WordPress, or would it just redirect from Squarespace to WordPress?

    Hi,

    Thanks for getting back to me. So we would like each business to have their own login (could be used by multiple people within that business). I’m guessing they would be redirected from Squarespace to WordPress? This is the area that I’m unsure about so any advice would be great.

    They would be viewing pdf view only reports that our inspectors create about their equipment.

      Invite-only access with a plugin (Business plan or higher)

        • If you want each business to have its own login that can be used by multiple people, you’d need to be on the Business or Commerce plan. These plans allow you to install plugins that can create a more traditional “client portal” experience (for example, with individual logins and role-based access).

        Since your use case involves PDF reports for different businesses, the simplest approach might be password-protected pages if you don’t need individual accounts.
