Completely different site appears when typing URL .
I have cleared the cache and cookies and logged out of the site. When you google http://www.questtravel.wordpress.com, And click on that, the correct page appears but when you type it into the URL bar, a WordPress.com site appears that is like a getting started page with

“Welcome to WordPress.com! This is your very first post. Click the Edit link to modify or delete it, or start a new post. If you like, use this post to tell readers why you started this blog and what you plan to do with it.

Happy blogging!” Posted in 2012 when I did not even have a wordpress account.

The other site I have on my wordpress account works fine. Please help with this. Thank you.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    The URLs are different.

The first one (the one you typed out in your post is (caps for emphasis) QuestTRavel.wordpress.com. The other one, the one at the bottom of your post, is QuestTAvel.wordpress.com, which does not have the letter R in the word TRAVEL.

At the very bottom of your first post, WordPress automatically adds the sentence, “The blog I need help with is ________.wordpress.com”.

In your first post, that URL is missing the R in “travel”. The URL that is put there is done so automatically by the WordPress software and can’t be changed in the window where you write your post, which leads me to believe that your URL that’s registered with WordPress is not spelled the way you think it is.

From looking at 7sensestravel.wordpress.com, which has largely the same content, it looks to me like you think you own questtRavel.wordpress.com, when you actually own questTAvel.wordpress.com.

Take a look at your URL through your WordPress dashboard to confirm my suspicions. (Or to prove me wrong!) I’m interested to know if that’s actually what’s happening.

Thank you for pointing this out. Nine people in our office could not pick this up!

I’ll create another site and do an export. Much appreciated
