Completely Locked out of Account Because of Two Step Authentication
-
Hi, I’m hoping I can get some help here. I have been locked out of my blog taylormccleve.wordpress.com due to losing my old phone that was used for two step authentication. I switched phones about two months ago, but completely forgot that I had two step authentication enabled on my blog until now. I recently upgraded operating systems on my computer, and reinstalled my browser, so all cookies and log in sessions were wiped clean. When I went to log in to my blog today I was presented with the log in page, entered my information, and then hit the authentication checkpoint and facepalmed.
I have no idea how to get passed this. While I can change the password, that doesn’t help much as I still need to enter the authentication code, and sending via text doesn’t help either as I have a different phone and number than the one I had when I set up two-step authentication last year.
Is there someone at WordPress I can email to provide proof of ownership of the blog? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

And while I did print out those backup codes, that was a year ago, and I have absolutely no idea where they are now, so I don’t have that as an option.

Please complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums which are available to everyone with internet access.

Thank you so much, timethief! That was exactly what I needed. I tried using Google to find a recovery link, but I don’t think I was using the right kind of search terms. Appreciate the help!
