Completely locked out of my old website

  hello all,
  I have another WordPress account and I just cannot remember enough information to get my login restored. I can prove I am the owner (I own the email listed on the website) but not through the methods required by WordPress.

  Is there anyone I can talk to on the phone or online that can help me here? I am willing to upgrade that account if that is what it takes to recover that site

  There is no phone support and Support Staff do not deal with account recovery; only Account Recovery Staff do that.

  What I post only applies to sites hosted by wordpress.COM. It does not apply to wordpress.ORG software installs.

  Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account.

  You must be logged in under the exact same username that registered the site to be able to access the site and purchase or renew or cancel upgrades. The Admin login link to the dashboard for every blog hosted by wordpress.COM is:

  http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

  *Replace NAME_OF_BLOG in that URL with the actual name of your blog.

  If you do not have the required access and someone else registered the site you need to contact the person who registered the account and site under it and have them transfer the sites and upgrades to your username account.

  If you check each and every possible email address and account and are not successful gaining access to the blog(s) then you must complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff, and provide proof ownership, so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums, which are available to everyone with internet access.

  Support Staff cannot breach the privacy policy and provide the log-in information. You have to provide proof ownership to Account Recovery Staff to gain access https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/

  Hi there, thanks for the response. I do not have any of the 3 pieces of information the recovery form requires. It does not let me submit the form without that…

  Like I mentioned above, I cannot recall my user name or the email I used to register the blog. However, I have access to the email account listed in the blog as the way to contact me. Is there any way to recover this blog???

  Wow, that sounds like a big hole for WordPress. No one will ever claim ownership of this blog, it will just stay lost there! I could definitely prove ownership by providing information no one else would know! Is this all because there’s no phone support for free users? If I sign up for a paid account will I be able to speak with someone and get this figured out???
