Completely new to blogging

I don’t even understand the concept of designing a blog all I know is myspace. With myspace I know how to pretty much make it look any way I want because there are SO many generators out there and it’s as simple as pasting it into one of the sections of your profile. But with a blog, I wouldn’t know where to post a code if I wanted to. It’s seriously like a blank page. Is there any resources out there that break it down? I mean SERIOUSLY break it down as if this is my first time seeing a blog? I want to customize my page but just don’t know where to begin and it’s so bad I don’t know what to type in a search engine! Help!

You CAN’T change the look of your blog without learning how to code in CSS and buying the CSS upgrade. Don’t buy it if you don’t already know how to use CSS.
You can change themes easily: just go to Dashboard->Design and pick one of the five pages of themes. If you pick Garland you can change the colours. If you pick a design with a customizable header, you can upload any header you want that’s the proper size.
My advice is to concentrate on the contents of the blog, not the look of the blog, unless it matters to you so much that you’re willing to become a CSS coder.

Also by linking your name to your blog it will serve the purposes…
If you need to ask a support question in the forum then it will make it easier for the volunteers to see what blogging platform your using & will aide them in giving you a more accurate answer to your issue.
