Completely unable to add images

Whenever I try to post, there appears to be no way to post images. On the bar at the top of the visual post, there is no button that I could press to add images. There is no “add media” or any sort of image uploader anywhere around my posting page. When I go into full screen mode, there are a few buttons to add media, but I am unable to click them. Whenever I try to link the images via html, the images do not show up. I’m sorry if this has been covered previously, but all of the support topics I’ve searched have lead me nowhere with this problem. I would appreciate any help available.
Caveat – I am writing on someone else’s blog. I believe I have the same settings as everyone else, and every other poster on this blog has been able to add images with ease. Thanks again!

Sounds like you’re using the quick post option on the front of the dashboard. You can still use it, but you’re right, it doesn’t have those things. If you post, then click Edit, you’ll see them there. Or if you go directly to the Write page itself (New Post on your admin bar) you’ll see the options there.
