Computer hanging while uploading images

    After uploading a picture into my media library, before inserting that picture into my post, when I try to upload another picture, my computer will hang and go into “Not Responding” mode, making the whole page refresh. Is there any way to avoid this hanging when uploading 2 or more pictures one after another?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hello!

    WordPress suggests a couple troubleshooting options:
    1. Make sure your images are in the right format: png, jpg, or gif are formats that work well
    2. If they are larger pictures it may take a while, try shrinking the pictures down with an image shrinker/ re-sizer.

    3. Try clearing your browsers cache and/or updating to the latest browser:
    –> Updated Browser: http://www.browsehappy.com
    –>What is my browser?: https://www.whatismybrowser.com/
    It will show in green if your browser is up to date.
    4. Try a different browser such as Chrome, Firefox or Safari
    5. If you are using a mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet try a laptop or desktop (if possible)
    6. Ensure you have a stable internet connection and/or access to a strong wifi signal.
    7. Last, if you are uploading them through the Beep Beep Boop (BBB) editor, try uploading them through the Dashboard–>Media.
    To get to the Dashboard from the BBB editor go to “My Sites” on the top-left, find the correct blog, and click on its dashboard.
