Canard — unable to put 5 featured post
-
I have a new blog post for which I am still trying to finalize a theme. I like Canard as it allows me to showcase 5 featured post. But when , I try to set featured post, its not happening.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello! You’ll need to set and use a tag so the theme know what posts you want to be featured.
To set the tag go to:
My Site -> Themes -> Customize -> Featured Content -> choose a tag name of your choice -> Save
Once you’ve decided on a tag name you can add that tag to posts that you want to feature (up to 5 of them).
My Site -> Blog Post -> Edit -> Categories & Tags (on the right side menu bar) -> type the tag that you setup earlier -> Update.
Let me know if you’re still having trouble or if you’ve already tried these steps.

Thank you xpurichan, I have already tried the steps mentioned by you.
I have the tag “Top” defined on Featured Content box and also defined few posts with the Tag.
If you go to my blog page I have left the tag names visible for a post. You will be able to see that I have more than 4 post defined with tag “Top”.
Yet, the feature is not being activated. -
Searching your site I do see where you defined a category as ‘Top’ but not a tag. Categories and tags are configured on the same page, can you double check that ‘top’ is configured as a tag and not as a category? I might also recommend removing the ‘Tag’ category in case that is causing a conflict.
If it is configured as a tag and it still isn’t working can you try changing the tag that is configured for featured posts and then tagging just a single post with that word?

Sorry, to avoid confusion let me fix that typo:
* I might also recommend removing the ‘Top’ category in case that is causing a conflict.

Ha! Glad we got that figured out. I really do like that format. I might have to change my site to canard now…
