Concern about content review – how long?

  Hi All

  I’m new to this forum but wonder if you could help I started a blog yesterday and it came up and said ‘we have concern about the content please contact us’ I immediately responded since I’m going to be blogging about weightloss (hopefully!) I assume the problem is having the word strip in the title (thats the product I’m using) but I’ve not had any response and the first post is still pending review.

  Any idea how long this review will take?

  If you have contacted them, then just wait for their reply. Typically they are reasonably quick – a day, possibly two. If after a day they have not gotten back to you, contact them again.

  I personally responded to your e-mail yesterday (I’m looking at the e-mail thread as we speak). Please check any junk/spam filters you may have and contact us again regarding the issue. This will need to be dealt with outside of the forums.

  I made posts to my blogs originally with no problems and now I made a few posts and it says they are pending review… ?? I don’t think it’s questionable subject matter – although it is a little bit about time, space and the nature of reality… perhaps these are the subjects of the new pornography. In any event, I find this all to be too much admin overall… thank god for my own unabridged, unfettered domain where I post what I want when I want and it is available to the world immediately.

  The blog linked to your name is not a WordPress.com blog, so if you’re having problems with that you’ll need to seek help elsewhere; our answers will not apply to you.

  If you have a WordPress.COM blog, please supply the link or link your name to your blog directly. We cannot help you if we cannot see the blog.

  Are you the Admin of the blog, or just a contributor? Contributors works are always held for review by the blog admin; that is the nature of that particular status.

  The blog linked in your user name is not hosted here at wordpress.COM. If you are referring to a wordpress.COM blog, the only reason it would be “pending review” is that you are not the administrator of the blog and the administrator has set it so that your posts have to be approved by him/her before they show up on the site. It has to do with the role assigned to you by the administrator and NOT the subject of this thread.
