CONCERN: Help…Is someone taking over my blog?

    I had the same thing happen to our site from (email visible only to moderators and staff) & (email visible only to moderators and staff) on the same day.

    Suddenly, none of our links worked any more and it turned into this problem: http://bit.ly/9KKc5K which is being discussed on another part of the WP forum.

    I went into our settings and fixed it all and deleted those two users. They added themselves as users (though I’m pretty sure that feature had been disabled in our settings), and the default was set to new users being administrators.

    Yikes.

    @galavantingkim the problem there affects only old self-hosted WordPress installs, not WordPress.com.
