concerned about private and confidential information

  heya just started blogging here :) im concerned about my email and ip address being shown online along with anyone who posts a comment is there a way to hide such info i dont believe anyone has the right to view that sensitive information when reading a comment. can you let me know how to hide or remove such things please and thank you….

  Don’t comment. If you don’t comment on blogs, the bloggers cannot see your email and IP information at WordPress.com. Regular commenters cannot see such things anyway.

  The admins and/or owners of the blog can see your email information if you are logged in to your account. If you don’t want even them to see that info, then don’t comment. Or sign out and use a free/disposable email addy for comments online.
