'Concise' archive style but 'Detail' display of latest post?

  Hello,

  I want to have my blog as a series of short snippets i.e. using the ‘Concise’ archive style from Chateau’s ‘Theme Options’. I have done that, but the latest post still remains in ‘Detail’ display, and I cannot figure out how to make that one also a ‘Concise’ display.

  But I want it all to be ‘Concise’!

  Hi,

  First of all, your blog’s content is super interesting!

  Secondly, I’m curious about this also, so I checked Chateau’s source code. The way it is coded, on homepage, it will display at least one latest post in ‘Detail’ display. Or more, if you have stickied posts.

  But you wanted to have zero, and it unfortunately is not supported. On homepage, it either displays:
  1) 1 ‘Detail’ post, then the remaining in ‘Concise’, or
  2) Everything in ‘Detail’, if you set it so in the Theme Options

  You’re welcome! In my opinion your site’s layout looks pretty awesome the way it is right now. The Detail view for the latest post showed a thumbnail that immediately grabbed my attention, which might not happen if everything is in Concise mode.
