Condron.com & Alpha Inventions

I have noticed all the talk about Alpha Inventions and I too don’t like it as they are “puffing” my blog stats. However, I also notice condron.com is doing the same thing. They also have porn blogs posted along with mine which I don’t like. I have no idea who they are or how to stop them either. I too agree that WordPress needs to do something about Alpha Inventions and not leave it to the individual bloggers.

I don’t see why WP.com should do anything about Alpha Inventions, actually. I don’t know what condron.us does or whether it’s breaking any laws or TOS. But Alpha Inventions is pretty harmless.

It is. And I’m on it somewhere, still haven’t seen any hits from there in months. Probably because WP.com adjusted the stats, realizing those were automated, and are screening most of them out.

The problem is these sites are irritating. I shouldn’t have to email the owners to ask them to stop using my blog to promote their site. I put it in the same category as spam: unwelcome.

wait, I believe condron.us is a splog and when I went on there, there wasnt even a way to submit your blog or contact them. That site was creepy. Alpha inventions is harmless, I dont understand the sudden uproar over it.

I don’t think there is any legal protection against being irritated. If you’re online, you’re going to encounter people who irritate you. It’s a given. And it’s each individual person’s problem.

Thanks for clearing everything up as usual guys. I run into the AI enemies every so often. I say 97% of people that has encountered AI likes it. I do want to save the other 3%, so I’m on it.

I’m new to this blogging but I dont have a problem with you doing this. I like it. It puts the content out there for people to see, and can only help spread information.
To those that dont like it: I dont know what the big deal is about stats, unless you are selling something. Is it an “ego” thing? If people like your content, they’ll be back. This just puts the content out there in a massive way.
