configuration with godaddy website

i am the webdesigner for matthew cody, who has the domain matthewcody.com configured to go to his wordpress blog. we are building him a new website and have set up hosting over at godaddy. what i need to do is the following:

    1. change either the DNS or IP settings to forward matthewcody.com to his new server at godaddy. (not sure how to do this.)
    2. then have his blog as a sub-page of his site, preferably still hosted at wordpress.com

does this make sense as a plan? any advice on how to do this is appreciated as i am lost in a sea of information.

    thanks,
    denise

for anyone else who is having this issue….in order to change the domain configuration settings for a domain purchased through wordpress, you can go to the bottom set of links on the left hand column and choose “upgrades” and then “domains” and then from there you can click “manage your domains” and there you can log in with your customer number and password and change the DNS settings to those that your hosting server requires. i hope this helps!

You cannot map the blog here to a subdirectory, but you can map it to a subdomain. See this support document for more on the mapping: http://support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/ .
