configure mx record
-
Hi there,
I purchased my domain name (morethanthefloor.com) through wordpress but I’m building my site through Weebly.com. I created an email address ((email visible only to moderators and staff)) and changed my domain’s DNS records to point to an IP Address provided by Weebly for the email address to work. It is now telling me I need to configure the MX Records for this email address through my domain host and I can’t figure out how to do it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
CrysThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I can help you with this. Who is hosting your email? Did they send you any more information on the settings for the MX Records? They are different for every email provider.

Thank you so much! The email is hosted by google apps. All I have is a link to generic instructions, if that helps…
https://support.google.com/a/answer/174125I’m a little confused because I know I purchased my domain through wordpress, but when I look it up on the WHOIS lookup it says it’s registered with Wild West Domains. So I think I need to configure the MX records through Wild West, but I don’t have a log in or anything with them (I don’t think… it’s been like 3 years since I purchased this domain name but I am almost positive I did it through wordpress and can’t find anything in my emails about wild west).

Wild West Domains is our partner, so you’ll make the changes through us.
Here are the step-by-step instructions for connecting your domain to your Google Apps email account

If you get stuck let me know. This is pretty advanced stuff, and I’m happy to help if you have trouble getting everything set up.
