'configure widget image'- no longer relevant, how to delete the message??

i can see there are 5000 plus posts about widgets but i can’t seem to find the answer to my question- so sorry if there are a hundred appropriate answers which i failed to locate- i Tried to do the ‘zero to hero’ caper but couldn’t keep up with it altho the Attempt did get me back to posting on my blog (which was a success in itself However, i absolutely failed to import the widget image and so now, having failed Twice, have 2 (two) messages on my blog saying i should ‘configure the widget image’ or something of that ilk (i tried to copy- paste to get the exact script but it went missing) How do i get rid of those messages please?< Feeling like a cyber incompetent ( did you guess i am Not a digital native?!) >

What widget are you talking about? The image widget? Just take it out of the sidebar if the error notice bothers you. If you want to fix it, you need to get the URL of the image itself, and put that in the widget. It will end with .jpg or .png or .gif.
