configuring a contact form
-
Hi I have a question about configuring a contact form for my blog. What I want to do is to be able to choose the email I want it to send the message to, and I want to provide a subject box for the person to fill out if they want, if that is possible.
I read the support page about contact forms, and I saw the example for doing a basic contact form, an example for choosing the email address, and an example for allowing a subject box. But there was nothing said how to combine both features.
If someone could tell me if it is possible to combine the two things and how to do that if it is possible, I would appreciate the help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

First of all, thank you for looking at the Support Docs first before asking!
It seems like it should be possible to combine the two in the same brackets and separated by a space. It would look like
[contact-form to="youremail @ youremail.com" show_subject="yes"]but obviously without the spaces around the @.Make sure the contact email address is not one you have associated with another WordPress.com account you may have.

Make sure the contact email address is not one you have associated with another WordPress.com account you may have.
Why? Because of spammers? (I use a contact form on my blog too and was wondering)

Seems if you do, the message from the contact form is sent to your primary account address regardless of what you’ve put in as the “to” part. That was my experience while testing the above. YMMV
