Configuring sidebar widgets

  I’m trying to increase “recent posts” to 15 and “recent comments” to 10 in my LH sidebar. The numbers are both within the maximum permitted according to the widgets config windows. I’m also trying to change the stats title. BUT, when I make the changes and hit “save changes” and return to the home page, nothing has changed – ie there’s still 10 recent posts, 5 recent comments and the stats title is unchanged. What am I doing wrong?

  My sidebar widgets are still totally gone – even though the previous post before this one seems to indicate the issue was resolved. Hopefully this gets fixed soon – and when it does I will be back up everything … I know I don’t have all the links and info. I need to build it back up to the way it was oh well live and learn

  Well, my sidebar is OK. This is a different issue, I’m just trying to configure some changes.

  Hi! I have the same problems as you have. I tried to set the number of posts to 5, but it just doesn’t use the new changes.

  So I’m not alone lunca80? Looks like no one knows how to fix it. Maybe it’s inherent?

  My sidebar widgets were out of order and some were added that I had not assigned to my sidebars. I had to rebuild my sidebar widgets. I now have more recent posts in my side bar than I had yesterday, up from 5 to about 10 or 12. Strange??? Seems like the sidebar widgets have gone awry??? Seems like my sidebar widgets have revolted. My site meter and stat counter codes are no longer in a text widet, but my stats are still counting and presenting on those sites. A true mystery. What is up???
