  I would like to add my Facebook, Linkedin and Flickr accounts to my blog but when I put the links in it doesn’t take me directly to the site. I’ve done a little bit of research and everything seems to be telling me I need to create profile badges; how do I create a profile badge for these sites? Or is there a simpler way to do all this and I’m just confusing myself.

  You can add social media buttons to your sidebar or footer by following the instructions over here. Or if your theme supports social links menu, follow these instructions.
