Confirm Email

Hello WordPress,
I’ve been told to confirm my email but I haven’t been receiving anything, not even in my spam. I actually received one but it was delayed and expired by the time I received it.

Please check in your email client spam/ junk mail filter as well as your “social” tab in Gmail, if you use it. I am having the same problem as the person above, I think. I have too many email addresses connected to WordPress. I tried to change my email address default for WordPress when asked, but now I receive nothing- no notifications of blogs I follow, etc.

@reiryanhawaii I don’t see any outstanding issue on your blog. What e-mail address do you want to have on your account.

@foundfootageblogdotcom oops, it seems (email visible only to moderators and staff) is already being used on a different account, is that correct? You might want to change that e-mail first so I can set the (email visible only to moderators and staff) on your current account.

It’s being used on a different WordPress.com account. You can reset the account’s password by filling in the e-mail address at https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword. After that you can log into that account, and either reply back in this thread to confirm ownership or change the account’s e-mail address at https://wordpress.com/settings/account/

Ok- I think I get it- you mean do this in order to use the email that matches my current blog, I have to change it- according to the process you’ve laid out here- then come back and get the email changed for this account? :)))

ok- I did that and then it wouldn’t let me log in with new password!
I don’t even know which email I am supposed to be changing, and where!
I am terrified I will get locked out of my blog.
I have no idea what to do next :(
