Confirm Follow Blog for Comment

  There are a few blogs that I follow which for some reason require me to confirm that I am following that blog before my comment can be posted. This makes no sense as I am already following that blog and in the lower right hand corner WordPress acknowledges that I am following it. Is there something the blog owner can do to stop that from happening?

  I find that strange!
  As long as you’re logged into your WordPress.com account, that should not happen.
