confirmation email

  I have asked for a confirmation email to be sent about twenty times. I have double checked the address. I have checked spam, clutter and every folder in my inbox. I have only gotten one email which was another author accepting.

  I can’t post!

  Follow up #2 – I have also tried to receiver the email through Chrome and Explorer.

  Our logs show the emails are going out, so it’s strange that you’re not getting them.

  I have just sent you another email. Can you please reply to that email, then we can manually activate your account for your.

  It looks like you were able to verify your account already, as it’s not showing as unverified to me.

  If you’re still seeing the message on your dashboard, try clearing your browser cache and it should go away.

  Thanks. I switched to my personal email address (@gmail) and it worked instantly. For some reason, my work email isn’t working. It’s still a gmail address but is custom branded. I haven’t tried switching back just yet.

  With Gmail addresses the confirmation emails often end up in the Social or Updates tabs of the inbox. The admin of your work email account might also have set up automated filters that block certain types of emails.

  If you want to try and switch back to the work email you’ll again have to confirm the email change, but your account will stay active.
