confirmation email

  i am trying to create a blog for my STEP 405/447 course at UBC. wordpress says that they have sent me a confirmation email but i did not receive it. please send it to
  (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  Hi,

  Aside from this issue, I hope that you’re doing well today :). It sounds like you might have sent the confirmation email to an email address ending in .edu (I’m guessing). If that’s the case email addresses that end in .edu usually have tight security than other types of public email addresses like Gmail. That being said, I would check the junk or spam folder of your email account just to be on the safe side.

  If you have access to your account you can also change the email address on file per the documentation linked to below.
